# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • They're ridiculously easy to make, yet they look like you spent hours planning the most charming thing anyone's ever seen
  • Your guests will smile the moment they spot these on the platter—they're almost too cute to eat, and that's the real magic
  • No baking required, so you can make them while everything else is happening, and they're naturally gluten-free if you swap the crackers
02 -
  • Softening your cream cheese properly isn't just nice—it's the difference between a smooth mixture and one with frustrating little lumps. Take it out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before you start.
  • The pretzel arms are your last-minute addition before serving, not before refrigerating. Pretzels soften from the moisture in the cheese if they sit too long, and nobody wants floppy snowmen arms.
03 -
  • Your hands are the best tool for forming these—they sense the right amount of pressure and temperature in a way no utensil can
  • If the cheese mixture feels too soft while assembling, pop it in the fridge for 10 minutes; it'll hold its shape far better and you'll actually enjoy building them
