# Method:
01 - Preheat the waffle maker according to the manufacturer's guidelines.
02 - Spread a thin layer of softened butter on one side of each bread slice.
03 - Place two bread slices, buttered side down, on a clean surface. Layer two slices of cheese and any optional add-ins on each.
04 - Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side up, forming two sandwiches.
05 - Place one sandwich into the preheated waffle maker, close the lid gently pressing lightly, and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until bread is golden and cheese melts.
06 - Cook the second sandwich following the same procedure.
07 - Let sandwiches rest for 1 minute before slicing and serving hot.
