01 - 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
02 - 8 slices cheddar cheese

03 - 16 black olive slices

# Method:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Unroll the crescent dough and cut into 8 rectangles.
03 - Cut each rectangle into thin strips, approximately 1/2 inch wide.
04 - Place a slice of cheese on each of the remaining 8 dough rectangles.
05 - Wrap dough strips around each cheese slice, leaving small gaps to mimic mummy bandages and a space for the "eyes."
06 - Transfer wrapped cheese to the prepared baking sheet. Brush with melted butter, if desired.
07 - Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
08 - Remove from oven. While still warm, press two olive slices into the front of each "mummy" to create eyes.
09 - Allow to cool slightly before serving.
