# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • Everything cooks in one pan, which means your cleanup is basically just rinsing the sink.
  • The salmon stays buttery and moist while the vegetables caramelize just enough to taste almost sweet.
  • It's ready in 35 minutes from start to finish, perfect for weeknight dinners when you're actually hungry.
02 -
  • Don't skip patting the salmon dry before you brush it with oil, because any surface moisture steams the fish instead of letting it develop a gentle crust.
  • The vegetables you choose matter way less than making sure they're cut to similar sizes so they all finish cooking at the same time.
  • If you're using really small broccoli florets, add them in the last 10 minutes so they don't turn to sad, overcooked mush.
03 -
  • If your salmon fillets are really thick, start checking for doneness at 15 minutes because oven temperatures vary wildly and you don't want to dry it out.
  • Roast everything at a high temperature so the vegetables get caramelized edges while the salmon stays gentle and tender in the middle.
